MUSIC CONCERT =)

wednesday:

what a day! so it was the day of our much rehearsed music concert at melba hall. so early start. cause me and ness had a math sac at 8.15. rehearsals at the hall started at 8,45. hence we said we would rush over. the maths sac was the most depressing thing ever! bloody stupid rollercoaster question. the whole paper was on one f****in rollercoaster. and if cant get first question. die la. and i didnt. hence died. we finished at 9.45. so me and ness when rushing to melba hall. the whole tram ride was pretty depressing thinking abt the stupid maths sac.

then we arrived. and rehearsals were fun. got to see everyone in their costume. after that a bunch of the music students went out for chineese food for lunch. yum. then we walked back to school. but i had to meet some of my other friends to go somewhere. and i was suppose to meet them at the hostel. i jst knew i would get lost trying to get there(sense of direction being hopeles). thank goodness i saw jacky coming in as i was going out and i manage to convince him to walk me to the hostel. hehe. met up with juin and tiff and we headed towards Crown(casino/shopping centre). we missed our tram stop and ended having to walk quite a bit. and we were like walking at 5cm per sec. (yes there r ppl who walk as slow as me!). haha. since we were doing soooo much exercise and all :p we had to stop n get pancakes. hehe. finally got to crown. so gorgeous. got lost again. finally found the shop. then headed back.

i rushed to aiwees hse to start getting ready and showers n stuff. once me n ness were ready we headed to nandos for dinner. i was all dressed up nicely in a dress and makeup and heels and with a BIG SCHOOLBAG. i looked so stupid. haha.

got to the concert. dead nervous. helped usher ppl in. sat on stage thinking crap im coming up soon. then it was our turn. we went up and played our song. i guess it went by quite good. i made two small mistakes but i music teach said it was excellent. so ah well. lol. the rest of the concert was really enjoyable. and of course, when ppl get dressed up what happens? camwhorin ;) :

Multicultural Fest

last wednesday was multicultural fest. so much fun dressing up and seeing others all in their costumes. FYI, its the FIRST time in aussie that im wearin one of my heels. FINALLY. lol. anyway, it was fun. free food. so much, everywhere. i tried stuffing myself the best i could.

English/ESL excursion

so YESTERDAY was our english excursion. whole of year 12 got to miss second half of school to go and see the play "man of all seasons". so much fun. i was gonna take a tram to the arts center cause everyone else was walkin with the teachers but since i had yearly ticket... BUT my friends managed to persuade me to walk with them. strolling along, trying to keep an eye on any teacher cause we dont know where the hell we r going. i tell u, we almost took the wrong turning cause a hamburger got in our way. yes a hamburger.



the play turned out to be really well done. and throught out the play we were sneaking subway cookies up and down the whole line of us. trying to be discreet as food was not allowed in the theater. haahahaha. and snake jelly! lol. and of course after the play, we decided to hang about and walk at leisure pace purely for the sake of camwhorin:-

performance again

LAST FRIDAY---:

so last friday they were a bunch of past students coming for their alumni. and music dep. were asked to provide...well music. and i was asked not only to play my duet but also 2 of my solos cause there were a shortage of performers. this is cause, on the same day, was MUFY graduation. so quite a few ppl went to perform for it. AND my music teacher was gone as well. so there we were, waiting in line to perform after school. and THEN like 5-6 of my friends showed up wanting to hear me play. CRAP. damn malu. i was hoping they would give up waiting and leave. then my turn came up to play my duet. and that went fine. and since i was already at the piano, i asked chris(another music teach) if i could just carry on and play my solo. since i was at the piano already and didn want to lose my nerve. but he was like NO. let some singers go first. so i sat down. and my friends had to leave =) so i was like yay, less pressure. then singers almost finishing, meaning my turn, and guess what...ALL the performers from the graduation thing came back including my TEACHER! shiiit. i SO did not want to play infront of all those peeps. i mean ...ahhhh. chris says: ok, sasha ur turn. i compromise and go play one solo. didn go too bad since most of the performers who got back went into the music dep to keep their equipment. hehe. after that, we stole pizza and drinks from the alumni party. hung out for a bit. and i brought a helium balloon home. all in the train and everything. haha.

joey story

so there's this girl right. and she looks so much like jo! i mean, much shorted. but seriously. she's not in my year so i dont know her, but first time i saw her i was like wow "she looks so much like joey". then today i found out, that her name is JOEY! how bloody coincidental is that! hahaha.

Speaking of birthdays.....

so last saturday was jiun's 18th! so we had a lil party at the hostel. so she invited us to come at 7.30. but there was a surprise organised by tiff and sarah to decorate her room, and party poppers and everything. cake. omg, the cake they bought was sooo yummy. it was this bunch of chocolate covered balls stacked up. inside the balls were like pastry like thing and creaam. and we put long stick candles all over so it ended up looking like a poccupine(is tht how u spell?) lol. anywayz, after much caos of ppl coming a bit late, we managed to get everything done in time. and when she opened the door, we yelled suprise and cracked all the party poppers, she...ran away. hahahah. the can see like an empty shot in the video. all in all the party went great. oh and i baked a chocolate cake for her as well. turned out good. not to brag or anything. hehe. uncle picked me up abt 12 sumthin. was a fun night =)

all this talk abt bdays made me reliase that my bday is gonna be during the mid year hols! which mean EVEYRONE is gone! i mean like everyone is going back home. and im here. today got a lil good news, that charmaine said she will be back in time for my bday. and vanessa promised to come back before my bday. that makes....2! ugh. lol
